Chills down my spine. I love how this story mirrors our society.

Many thanks! Vargos is a dark place, and while it's a dark setting for stories at a time when the world is struggling with things as well, I believe it does provide some interesting escapism. Much love for commenting and reading it means a lot!

Of course! I read a couple more tonight and I am gripped by Nia's story. The idea of data mining through an archeological lens is very interesting.

Tysm! Each story is meant to show a different piece of life in Vargos from a different perspective, no matter how small. Nia was a fun character to write for and her experience represents a common one for many freelance data miners in the city's underbelly. Really appreciate the in-depth look readers like you make it all worth it!

Thanks so much for reading! Maria and her sister represent one of millions (yes millions) of faces in the futuristic megacity. I believe character driven stories provide the best way for exploring this city both as a reader and writer. Thanks for taking a look and commenting!
